RICHARD COMMEY STRIPPED OFF WORLD TITLE

Ghana's Richard Commey lost his IBF Lightweight title to American boxing sensation, Teofimo Lopez, after suffering a Round 2 technical knockout over the weekend.

Lopez who was favorite to win among the pundits because of his sensational right hand punch hit Commey in 1minute 14seconds at Madison Square Gardens early sunday.

commey 32, went into the bout as the under dog despite him being the defending champion. Lopez 22 became the 5th youngest world champion  since 1984 after defeating Commey.

Lopez will now have to face Vasil Lomanchenko to what will seem as an exciting and thrilling bout. Lomachenko-Lopez will be one of the most highly-anticipated fights of next year if/when it comes to pass, as you’re pairing arguably the top pound-for-pound boxer in the game today, a veteran who is small at 135 pounds, against a young powerhouse who is pretty big at 135.

Former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has been reappointed as Spain’s head coach after five months of his departure when he stepped down due to family reasons.

His assistant Robert Moreno took over as head coach and was given a contract that sees him take charge until after EURO 2020.

Moreno has been unbeaten in nine games in charge with the Spaniards and was reportedly in tears after their last game when he learnt he won’t be the coach anymore.

Enrique’s daughter was diagnosed with cancer and later died at the age of nine years old.

Arsenal’s Unai Emery has been sacked after being in charge of the gunners for 18months.

The former Valencia and PSG coach who took over from Arsene Wenger in May 2018, has parted ways with the club.

Unai Emery won 43 of his 71 games in charge of Arsenal, with an average of 49% win in the premier league games as head coach for Arsenal.
