Ghana's Richard Commey lost his IBF Lightweight title to American boxing sensation, Teofimo Lopez, after suffering a Round 2 technical knockout over the weekend.

Richard Commey knocked out after second round

Lopez who was favorite to win among the pundits because of his sensational right hand punch hit Commey in 1minute 14seconds at Madison Square Gardens early sunday.

commey 32, went into the bout as the under dog despite him being the defending champion. Lopez 22 became the 5th youngest world champion  since 1984 after defeating Commey.

Lopez will now have to face Vasil Lomanchenko to what will seem as an exciting and thrilling bout. Lomachenko-Lopez will be one of the most highly-anticipated fights of next year if/when it comes to pass, as you’re pairing arguably the top pound-for-pound boxer in the game today, a veteran who is small at 135 pounds, against a young powerhouse who is pretty big at 135.

SOUTH AFRICAN'S SPRINGBOKS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD

England 12-32 South Africa: Springboks win Rugby World Cup for record-equalling third time

date: 2nd November 2019
South Africa added to their World Cup wins in 1995 and 2007
South Africa broke English hearts with a ruthless display of power rugby to seize their third Rugby World Cup in devastating fashion.
Twenty two points from the boot of nerveless fly-half Handre Pollard and second-half tries from wingers Makazole Mapimpi and Cheslin Kolbe ground England into the Yokohama dirt on a horrible night for Eddie Jones's men.
England had trailed 12-6 at the interval after taking a hammering in the scrum and making a series of handling errors.
And despite four penalties from captain Owen Farrell they never looked like closing that gap as the Springboks produced an outstanding display to match those of 1995 in Johannesburg and 2007 in Paris.
Those were iconic moments for a nation besotted with rugby and when Siya Kolisi lifted the William Webb Ellis trophy aloft as the first black man to captain the Springboks they will have the final part of a triptych that will endure forever in the country's collective memory
